What is the Difference between a Kaaz 1.5 way L.S.D. and a Kaaz 2 way L.S.D.?
Sometimes you will hear these terms used in the business of L.S.D. trading and the racing department, etc. but what does it mean? As we mentioned before, when the accelerator is stepped on, the L.S.D. comes into use. But what if you are braking through a turn? 1-Way L.S.D. means that only when the accelerator is stepped on, the L.S.D. comes into use. The 1.5-Way L.S.D. means that when the car is braking, there is little L.S.D. effect and the 2-Way L.S.D. means that either when the car is accelerating or braking the L.S.D. is always active. The difference between these are the shaping of the cam into different shapes for the pinion to fit. The diagram below shows how the 2-way version of the Kaaz L.S.D. operates.
Caution 1: Kaaz products are exclusively used for
racing. Never use it other than on a circuit.
Caution 2: Quality of Kaaz products are not
warranted after installation or use because these
products are to be exclusively used for racing.
Caution 3: Read an operation manual enclosed in the
package before installing to use the unit safety and
correctly. Use the unit correctly after fully
understanding the precautions and the performance of
the Kaaz LSD.
Caution 4: Understand the contents of the
"Instruction Manual" for this product: and
"Maintenance Manual for Cars Equipped with This
Product" and observe the precautions when
disassembling and re-assembling this product and the
car equipped with this product. It is very dangerous
if you do not observe the precautions because these
products and the associated parts may be damaged and
the car safety be lost possibly causing a major
accident. Use Kaaz products after fully
understanding its performance and characteristics.
Caution 5: When you notice abnormal vibration and
noise while driving a car equipped with these
products, immediately stop the car and inspect and
repair as required.
Caution 6: Do not lend the car equipped with these
products to any person who is not trained or
familiar with the handling of a car of this type.
Caution 7: The specifications and price of the
product are subject to change without notice.
Caution 8: Keep the manual after reading.
