What is our Store Policy?Some engine modifications parts Legal in California only for racing vehicles, which may never be used upon a highway. No cancellations, refunds or exchanges on special order items. We require a minimum 50% nonrefundable deposit on special order items.  No refunds or exchanges after 14 days. No returns, exchanges or refunds on Discontinued items. No cash refunds, store credit only. No returns on jets. A 20% processing fee will be charged on all Authorized Returned Merchandise or Cancelled orders. Returned merchandise must be unopened, unused and in original saleable packaging. Returned merchandise must be accompanied with a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No item may be returned without our having issued a prior return authorization, (R.A. #). Returns sent without an R.A. # will be refused.  No returns on electrical parts. A $25.00 fee will be charged on all returned checks. Customer will be responsible for any and all fees associated with non payment. Parts will remain property of Upgrade Motoring until payment is received in full. Parts not picked up or paid in full within 7 days are subject to restocking fees and/or loss of deposit. Shipping shortages or damaged goods must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. Inspect your package when it arrives and note ANY damage above your signature and notify the driver. Please save all packaging for any claims. Prices in our website subject to change without notice. Not responsible for typographical errors. Purchases on credit cards from Wholesale accounts are subject to a 3% processing handling fee.

Customer is responsible for all duties, taxes and shipping charges, if applicable.  For international orders and US Territories (excluding Canada), we require prepayment by wire transfer or from a Seller Protection Eligible Paypal account. We do not accept credit cards for international or US Territories orders. For wire transfers other than via Western Union, there is an inbound wire transfer fee of US$30.00. How do I place an order? This website now accepts limited online ordering. To purchase items online please click the BUY NOW! button or go to www.shop.upgrademotoring.com. To purchase items not linked to our shopping cart, please call us at 818.998.6005 M-F 10:00am - 6:00pm PST. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover Credit Cards. We can only ship to the billing address or registered addresses with your U.S. issued credit card company. We do not ship COD for retail orders.  
Do we ship internationally?   For international and US Territories orders, we require prepayment by wire transfer or Payment from a Seller Protection Eligible Paypal account. What do I need to do to open a Wholesale account? - Please fax a copy of your resellers permit, business license, business card and completed  certificate of resale (California) to become eligible for wholesale accounts. Our fax number is 818.998.6006. Purchases on credit cards from Wholesale accounts are subject to a 3.0% processing handling fee.   
What method of shipping do we use? We currently ship via UPS or USPS. Orders will be shipped via UPS ground or USPS Priority unless otherwise specified.

What does the Coefficient of Friction regarding to Brake pads refer to? Coefficient of friction is a numerical representation of the amount of friction force a brake pad exerts. The coefficient of friction ratings are given as a range that the pad exhibits. The higher the number, the higher the force exerted. These numbers also equate to what is known as “initial bite.” The smaller the range is for the coefficient of friction the more consistent, stable and safe the brake pad is.

When tightening my lug nuts or lug bolts, What is the Minimum number of turns should I get?

12 x 1.25 = 8.0 turns = Approx. 10mm of load bearing shaft length
12 x 1.50 = 6.5 turns = Approx. 10mm of load bearing shaft length
12 x 1.75 = 6.5 turns = Approx. 12mm of load bearing shaft length
14 x 1.25 = 9.0 turns = Approx. 12mm of load bearing shaft length
14 x 1.50 = 7.5 turns = Approx. 12mm of load bearing shaft length
1/2" UNF = 8.0 turns = Approx. 11mm of load bearing shaft length
